Gabriel's

It was a regular day of running for Jordan. Just stretching his legs, and back, and arms, and neck. Mostly his legs of course, doing every stretch he had learned since he was a child and improved over years of training. Leg swings, front, back then lateral. High knees, then butt kicks and alternating to walking lunges. Finally alternating side lunges and heel toe rocks. There were plenty more that could be done, but those would cover the basics. Of course, he always carried his trusty water bottle and two towels around his neck, just in case. Not that he ever wanted to compete in anything, the glory of the gold wasn’t his thing. The opposite in fact, for Jordan’s running was akin to meditation, a way for him to find peace, a calmness that nothing else in his life could ever achieve. So he took his morning jog, which he hadn’t ever missed in over twenty years and enjoyed the rush of wind on his face. It was beautiful, it was wonderful.
